About us

Nauticast GmbH is a company specialized in the field of maritime AIS technology. The product range covers class A and class B AIS-devices and corresponding software solutions. Our specialized team handles sales consulting, services and repairs as well as in-house development and software programming.

With a global network of partners we provide comprehensive service and state-of-the-art technical solutions to our customers.

History

Ever since the pioneering days of AIS-technology in the early 2000s, Nauticast AIS devices played a major role in the maritime market. After extensive research and development the "X-Pack DS" Class A - AIS transponder received BSH Wheelmark Approval in 2003. The X-Pack became a quasi-standard for many ship operators and with the large installed base of still operational units Nauticast maintains an important role, both technologically and commercially. Nauticast GmbH now builds on a market presence of more than 14 years in the maritime industry, a position which allows us grow the many long lasting customer relationships and seek technological innovations in the AIS field.

In addition to the daily quality orientation, we subject our quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 to an external audit once a year. Its results, as well as the suggestions of our customers and suppliers, are a constant source to improve our processes and service provision.
